Doctors4Justice has won an appeal for a talented scientist and medical student who has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He was offered a place to study medicine but the offer was withdrawn when faculty members were informed by him of some minor non criminal offending due to ADHD and social factors when he was a teenager.
Dr Helen Bright provided report on behalf of Doctors4Justice and Ms Sue Hope-Borland, Consultant Forensic Psychologist, Expert Witness report. Student presented the evidence which must have come as a big surprise to the medical school board. What an ability for organization for a person who has ADHD!
Mr Niall Dickson, Chief Executive of the General Medical Council provided prompt clarification on registration of medical students and past offending to Dr Helen Bright at her request and this was helpful.
Student is very happy now. Click on V sign to see and hear Happy Feet sing My Way.

Thank God for D4J! No student should be discriminated against due to a disability.
