Universal Laws - great comments

Serbia is debating some constitutional changes. Following an article online about it Darko wrote these comments about Universal Laws:

1. LAW OF NORMALITY

Everybody looks normal until you get to know them.
2. AUDIBILITY LAW
If you feel nobody is listening to you, try farting.
3. YOU ARE SO SPECIAL LAW
Always keep in mind that you are so special. Like everybody else.
4. CREDIBILITY LAW
Do not check the depth of water with both legs.Gavel, scales of justice and law books royalty-free stock photo
5. LAW OF MISSING PARTS
Sex is like air. Not particularly important unless you cannot get it.
6. DUTY OF CARE LAW
Should you think that nobody could care less if you are dead or alive try not paying your bills.
7. LAW OF FALLS
If you do not succeed parachuting the first time then it is not for you.
8. LENDING MONEY LAW
If you lent 20 euros to somebody and never saw them again then that money was really well spent.
9. THE LAW OF PERVERSITY
Do not fret. It is only perverse the first time.
10. THE LAW OF DUPLICATION
The fastest way to double 1000 euros is to fold the wad of 1000 euros in half.
11. LAW OF WINNING ARGUMENTS WITH WOMEN
There are two major theories about this but both are defective.
12. LAW OF EXPERIENCE
This is something you will not get until you need it.
13. TIME VELOCITY LAW
Time does not have permanent velocity. Everything depends on which side of toilet door you find yourself.

Mobbing should be a criminal offence

Survivor of mobbing at work speaks about failures of work colleagues to stand up together against it. She knows it is something that can be overcome by group action.

When she said that the initiator of mobbing at work should be reported colleagues told her: "Hush! We can all get sacked."

She survived and is clear that mobbing is so serious that it can destroy whole life. Many countries are still asleep about this phenomenon at work and have poor legislation.

This video clip is in Serbian and has no translation.

Performance tests kill doctors and patients - Medical regulators in denial by Dr Helen Bright

It is well established that high levels of stress can kill people.

Stress causes profound changes in the body; for example, rise in corticosteroid hormones that actually kill brain cells, some more than others. Memory cells seem to be particularly vulnerable. When highly stressed one is less likely to pass exams, or get good enough grades.

Higher mortality figures also arise through increased suicide rates. In young people suicide is the major cause of death in UK. Read more HERE. Suicides peak in exam season.

Medical regulators and their regulators (paid for by regulators themselves) have been in denial for many years about the effects of their performance tests on doctors and their patients. The tests have been found unreliable.

http://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/format.cgi?doc=/ew/cases/EWHC/QB/2014/2735.html&query=(gmc)

Holzfigur, Stones, Life Struggle, Resistors
High levels of stress cause memory block and poor performance by doctors when medical regulators examine them in so called performance tests lasting for days.

Following complaints to the medical regulator, instead of regulator examining the doctors' practice patients' cases which may include the inconvenience of travel by the regulator's investigating staff or experts, performance tests were introduced. With so much at stake doctors were more likely to fail. And when good doctors are removed from the medical register the chances are that more patients will die. There is a shortage of doctors now in UK. It is a very sad fact that members of the medical profession were participants in cruel treatment of their colleagues. False allegations by NHS trusts to the regulator of medicl profession contributed to doctor shortage.

In ancient times in Europe, empires obtained slave physicians. Today they come as refugees from war zones, Little do they know what awaits them. Nobody tells them.

Schools for children may manage better the exam stress by having continuing assessment instead. British educational system fails young people. Culture of excessive testing just carries on and on to many places of further education.

While the effect of stress in failing medical exams at universities is recognised by, for example, a review Iranian study there has been no recognition that medical regulators contribute to increased mortality through performance tests in highly stressful situation when so much is at stake. Much more than at the level of a medical student.

Racial stereotypes also play a role in underperformance according to some research.
In performance assessment the burden of proof is on the doctor to prove innocence and not the regulator to prove the guilt. This is against the basic principle of justice: innocent until proven guilty.

Botox for Camels in Saudi Arabia

Uproar at Saudi Arabian camel beauty contest as contestants caught using Botox

Recently in Saudi Arabia there were dozens of competitors disqualified for using Botox and other means to improve the attractiveness of their camels in annual Camel Beauty Contest.

Do you think some lips were enhanced or not on this photo from RT.com? Some cosmetic products would be difficult to detect.

National Health Service unable to cope while many doctors unemployed in UK

During Labour Party government there was a frenzy of persecutions of doctors and nurses who were whistleblowers. Department of Health produced policies which were unlawful (such as favouring religious leaders in their interpretation of mental health) and some that seem to give power to abuse those better qualified (New Ways of Working). Anti-locum policies were thinly veiled racist policies as most locum doctors are from ethnic minorities.

Courts did not care about the law when whistleblowers applied for help. Many tears were shed and much money wasted seeking legal assistance.

General Medical Council colluded in persecution of whistleblowers and ethnic minorities. Some issues raised by whistleblowers have never been addressed to this day. With no mercy for doctors  many were struck off the medical register.

Subsequent governments could not care to rehabilitate competent doctors. Now hospitals cannot cope despite much increased funding. Apparently English NHS hospitals have run out of corridor space for the patients.

Doctors who may have been above average in their performance  have been removed by GMC without GMC examining their performance as evidenced in real clinical work of those doctors.

A case of bad karma.

British ship cocaine free

This Pumpkin carving has won the first prize today at a Gardener's show.

It is cocaine free unlike some now ex- British sailors on board nuclear submarine. as reported by Daily Mail.

One of the symptoms of cocaine withdrawal is paranoia and when close to nuclear weapons it is really a dangerous combination.

Russia rehabilitated 10 millions of politically opressed people and England none

During British Labour Government led by Rt. Hon. Anthony Blair there was much persecution of professionals led by the religious fanatics seeking power and domination.

Image result for free photo woman gardener

When the previous Pope urged Catholics to engage in administration of the country by seeking jobs in  the state institutions, many did just that. The General Medical Council, regulator of medical profession,  employed the head of panel formation rumoured to be a member of Opus Dei. Doctors were nicely stitched up when she gave well paying jobs on Fitness to Practise Panels to the religious workers. Good medical practice did not matter but the power of the church. Women doctors could not expect a sympathetic ear from women  panellists during disciplinary hearings who were already heavily committed to patriarchal domination.

Various provocations were made at places of work and professionals acting professionally became victimised and labelled as unprofessional, or quite simply, exposed as non-believers and leaders that should be removed. That was the start of the troubles often lasting decades.

For example, at a  multidisciplinary meeting with the medical consultant when management of patients was to be discussed and arranged, the lowest ranking (in terms of earnings and education) would bring invitations to a church social event for the fore front of the medical staff. Others unqualified to diagnose would make  medical diagnosis and even go as far as hiding patients from doctors.

All kinds of other boundaries were breached and those doctors who spoke against political oppression  were eliminated from their profession and had to flee the country if they could.

The religious bias in British government seems everlasting with MPs still praying before their parliamentary sessions. Yes, in 2017!!

Russia has rehabilitated 10 millions of politically oppressed people and England none as far as we know from Blair era.

Specialist High Court for Health

Doctors4Justice (D4J) have been campaigning for the creation of  the specialist High Court for Health.

This would, in our vision, deal with compensation to patients, in personal injury claims, deal with regulation of all health related professionals including social workers, pharmaceutical patents and matters arising around it.

Self-regulation of professionals does not work and many lives have been lost because of it.

We are aware of the defects in the functioning of today's High Court such as sexism (like in the lower tribunals) and other forms of prejudices.

It is extraordinary to see the difficulty judges have in assessing biases arising in the lower tribunals. Appeals are not successful to the High Court because of it.

There is a shocking amount of tolerance for individuals who have for example, slithered into Employment tribunals, General Medical Council and as many as possible regulators at the same time. There have been tribunal members who should  have been disciplined, but instead their contract has been repeatedly renewed. Bad, bad, bad.

Conflicts of Interest are not assessed even though a form declaring interests is completed by applicants who wish to sit on the tribunals. Sometimes, these forms are incomplete or there is failure to update them.

When there is negligence and malice on part of the tribunal member, regulators have absolutely no decency to deal with it. Such incredible whimpery bred through years of service has gone completely unchecked.

A quite ridiculous amount of problems exists in health regulation today. There is no video of the process and defendants or anyone else do not get audio recording at present, are not told for how long recordings are kept by tribunals, for example, MPTS (Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service). Outsiders are not given a free electronic copy of the transcripts. Press reporters write articles  of limited value rather than spend thousands of pounds on transcripts of the proceedings. Some journalists never attend the hearings but write about them as reporters of it.

There has been some progress over hundreds of years but there are always those who wish to subvert justice and even return it to the dark ages when professions were regulated by religious courts - church. For example, religious fanatics are free to destroy doctors at medical tribunals even today in UK.

HERE Azerbaijan judge demonstrates modern Information Technology in his court. The country is building a complex of over thirty courts all designed to be modern and well equiped with technology.

Meanwhile, England is so slow.

Recently, Ms Helen Hayes, Labour MP, asked in Parliament the current Health Minister Philip Dunne about the creation of the independent tribunal for all the professions as mentioned in Francis report.
His answer is on the link and it appears there are a number of stages to be overcome such as planned consultation about it.

BREXITERS SHAPE UP!! Standards raised for foreign ministers at trade deals meetings - by Helen Bright

Of course, we all know that trade deals exist between non EU countries. However, we are not aware just how capable is British Foreign Secretary when it comes to a good singing performance. You see, the standard of entertainment has been raised. Not that Boris fails to entertain HERE

Decrease in doctors' suicides during investigations by the General Medical Council following our campaign

  1. Ross in 1971 researched suicides in doctors for the previous 75 years and found increased rates. Naturally, researcher asked why. Other studies followed: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2719447/#B9

2. Doctors4Justice have been campaigning for years to, at least, reduce the number of suicides in doctors investigated by the General Medical Council (GMC).
http://www.doctors4justice.net/search?q=suicide

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/names_of_doctors_who_died_follow

Dr Liz Miller repeatedly communicated her knowledge and concerns regarding doctors' mental health, including doctors' suicides while investigated by GMC, and set up self-help group, but suicides still went on.
http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/features/doctors-cant-be-depressed-1801673.html

Doctors4Justice even went to court to get the names of doctors who died. However, we lost although our case was better prepared than that of Information Commissioner and the General Medical Council (GMC).  At D4J we felt that there was determination to prevent further independent investigations.

Dr No calculated shocking statistics: 20 times higher suicide rates in doctors investigated by GMC:
http://www.badmed.net/bad-medicine-blog/2013/08/dropping-flies.html

In August 2013 Dr Helen Bright started an e-petition on government website asking for confidential enquiry into the deaths of doctors who died while investigated by GMC. Over 2000 people signed, many of whom are doctors.
https://petition.parliament.uk/archived/petitions/54034
The petition did not reach the treshold necessary for the debate in Parliament to take place:
"response_threshold_reached_at":null,"government_response_at":null,"debate_threshold_reached_at":null,"scheduled_debate_date":null,"debate_outcome_at":null,"rejection":null,"government_response":null,"debate":null,"signatures_by_country":[],"signatures_by_constituency":[]}}}
Petition closed in November 2013.

Dr Helen Bright wrote to Pulse and BMJ using statistics obtained from FOIA and Dr no's calculations. Medical press took up the issue.
http://careers.bmj.com/careers/advice/view-article.html?id=20018744

In December 2014 year GMC published their internal review of the deaths.
http://www.gmc-uk.org/Internal_review_into_suicide_in_FTP_processes.pdf_59088696.pdf

We were not happy with this report as it could not be independent and author had no medical qualifications. The report did not even give what she was Consultant in.

On 3rd December 2015 press release GMC reported they had commissioned the trusted hand of Professor Louis Appleby for further advice. He refused to hear evidence from Dr Helen Bright stating he has already spoken with people who think system should be different. Hmmm. Who has not spoken with such people at dinner parties, we wonder? You will note that 3rd December 2015 press release is different from the date on published GMC's Internal Review into suicides which is dated 15th December 2015.

In 2016 in Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine Drs Casey and Choong published their paper :
Suicide whilst under GMC's fitness to practise investigation: Were those deaths preventable?
identifying referral to GMC as a suicide risk:
http://d1c7lpjmvlh0qr.cloudfront.net/uploads/o/w/n/JFLMsubmission.pdf

September 2017 somebody (anonymous) obtained an update on doctors' suicides:
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/number_of_doctors_commiting_suic#incoming-1041544

According to our calculations there has been approximately, 70% reduction in suicides in doctors investigated by the General Medical Council for the years 2014-2016 according to their figures.

And what would have happened if Prof. Appleby did speak with D4J? How much more we could have reduced those suicides?

Foreign doctors and nurses keep away from England!

Two cars parked under the same tree, at the same time. No, I am not telling a joke.

This is my car the next day:

And this is my neighbour's car parked under the same tree, just opposite to me. It is spotless:

Superficially, this is so much like medical regulation in UK. Except that medical regulators do know the difference of where you come from and that is all that matters.

Slovenian philosopher Zizek talks how we must confront crimes against other human beings:

In Germany, if you are a passive bystander and a person collapses, for example, in a bank where you happen to be, and you do nothing to get medical help, you get fined or imprisoned. In UK you could get promoted. This is what medical profession has been doing for ages when they witness how their foreign colleagues and patients are mistreated.

As a doctor you can work for the medical regulator itself and cause even more damage even though your practice has been questioned at the medical regulator's at the same time.

If patient dies as the result of medical or/and administrative mistakes the scapegoat is usually a foreigner in UK, even if foreigner did not even work in the hospital at the time of patient's death.
Crazy but true. You will not be able to defend yourself as tribunals will be constructed in such a way that you must lose everywhere. Your lawyers will not be able to help you even if you could afford to have them.

Best is to stay away from people who do not deserve you.

Fed up waiting at the border? Have a dance

These Bosnians got fed up waiting at the border and went out for a dance instead. Goos way to manage stress:

We are not sure how well UKIP members would relate to this problem of waiting at the borders for a very, very long time on their journeys across Europe. So many borders all the way to Turkey or Greece.

Immigation, crime rates Sweden v England

Sweden has low crime rates and declining crime rates despite increased immigrant population.

England has declining immigrant population and increasing crime rates.

Swedish welcomed immigrants, English not but remain dependent on immigration in a hostile manner. Newspaper for doctors announced that more foreign doctors from Poland came to UK (not from France etc) and that local English population is pleased.

Well, that is some news when we know so very well just how racists in medicine go unpunished and many lives of immigrant doctors have been ruined for ever.

Jeremy Corbyn, Harassment on English Allotments - Anarchists and rightwing racists relentless attacks

There has been a large increase in racially and politically motivated attacks on gardeners on English allotments.

The history has been that rather than give the poor land so they can survive and not die from hunger, the concept of council owned allotments was created where land is rented to gardeners.

Because of the mental health benefits it has been accepted that gardening is to be supported.

Now vulnerable individuals have been repeatedly attacked by racists who provoke incidents and disturb peaceful gardening. There are insults, physical attacks, sabotage, theft, criminal damage. Some people had been burglered 9 times or more.

Police have been contacted numerous times and they do keep records of increased racially motivated attacks. This includes attacks on very blond and blue eyed Eastern Europeans, women and older people.

There is suspected damage to cars and bikes as well as gardening  equipment because people have to park near to allotments.

While it is possible to find that the majority of gardeners want protection councils refuse to meet up and implement the measures that would improve security of the poor. There is no CCTV cameras no barbed fancing.

The right wing haters have also come out with hatred of foxes but not all animals. Some bread mosquitous in water tubs as it is easy to get water out of these by scooping it out with a water can. Less work and less competition is not their published motto, but behaviour says it all.

Ignorance mixed with hatred is a nasty combination. There has already been one death on one allotment in London. There will be more and now death treats are open even infront of probation officer (who was also gardening there). This suggests some questions: Is it mere stupidity to make death treats infront of the probation officer or confidence that there is support there.

Today a newspaper published where Jeremy Corbyn, Leader of opposition is gardening. We are not giving you a link to this article because everyone has the right to privacy and personal safety. It was reported that he kept his allotment neat but for how much longer will he be able to attend to it if he is harassed and needs mega security?

So the envious destroy loving natured people by rubbishing them and making their life utter misery.

Our violence and your violence - drama by Oliver Frljic in Croatia

Image result for oliver frljic nase nasilje i vase nasilje

Vatican is said to be furious, there have been protests in Poland in front of a theatre, some politicians are trying to ban it. Oliver Frljic, Croatian producer has attracted contraversy by his observations of the chaos in which we live. In some places only "internal performance was allowed". What does that mean?
In other places completely sold out.

Interview with Oliver Frljic here in Croatian or Serbo-Croat as it was called before. He points to the failure to address the pertinent issues in our society. As to the people he states that we can get a Certificate of our stupidity based on for whom we have voted.

Cadbury v Prime Minister Theresa May on egg hunt in spring time

FengShui Faberge Egg Trinket Box with Globe and Ship Home Decorative Box 2016 Decorative Faberge Egg / Trinket Jewel Box

Photo: a fengshui easter egg on Ali express

Theresa May PM wants full on traditional egg hunt while others are moving away from Christian stealing of other people's customs and traditions. Especially now that some are more prosperous. There is a link with population prosperity and fall in religiosity.

In spring there is cause to celebrate life and its regeneration. Hormones change with electromagnetic radiation from sun, and eggs are produced.

Chocolate eggs are nice way to mark spring and that is it. It was pagan goddess Ishtar who was presented by her worshippers with fertility symbols eggs and rabbits because she was Mother Goddess. Apart from Ishtar she had other names such as Ceres (yes, breakfast cereals named after her), Diana, Venus and others. The Resurrection myth also predates Christianity.

As to the complex subject of human identity, religion may be there but it may not.
